Departure at Gate C7
I've been meaning to post these shots and clips taken over the 4th of July holiday. Finally here they are. Jim took me on a tour of Metro Detroit by air. Beautiful day and a great time. Nice Landing Jim!!
New Center
The Old GM Bldg. and the Albert Kahn designed Fisher Bldg. to the right.
Beautiful last Century architecture.. built to last.

Flew by the Ambassador Bridge Linking Detroit and Windsor.
The busiest Border Crossing between the U.S. and Canada.
Think bumper to bumper CTV's.
Michigan Central Station. Opened in 1913, the building is of the Beaux-Arts Classical style of architecture, designed by the Warren & Wetmore and Reed and Stem firms who also designed New York City's Grand Central Terminal. So much history, such a symbol of the state of the City.
